Chart the Course for the Future of Flight
We are seeking someone who’s interested in getting their hands on everything from user support, device management, server operations, to security basics. The selected person will have to work and own things end-to-end with the ability to point out gaps in IT policy if there are no frameworks and suggest changes as required
Roles and Responsibilities
Set up, configure, and maintain employee endpoint devices from laptops, desktops, peripherals
Manage software installation, OS updates, and device inventories
Be the first point of contact for IT issues across the organisation including diagnosis, resolve, or escalate
Maintain an asset register and ensure devices are tracked and accounted for
Assist in setting up and maintaining on-premise servers and HPC systems
Monitor HPC health, storage usage, and uptime including flagging issues before they become outages
Follow and enforce IT security policies set by the IT Manager
Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees
Support periodic audits and security reviews
Requirements
Required Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on IT experience in a corporate or startup environment
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Comfortable setting up and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and network equipment
Basic understanding of networking
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to server administration or virtualisation
Exposure to Google Workspace administration
