Role Overview: -
We are looking for a creative and passionate Junior Fashion Designer with 3–4 years of experience in the apparel industry, preferably in kids wear. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for innovative design, excellent software skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities: -
- Research fashion trends, consumer insights, and market competition to develop fresh design concepts.
- Create mood boards, color stories, print concepts, and seasonal collections.
- Develop garment sketches, technical drawings, and design presentations.
- Design all-over prints, placement graphics, embroidery, and surface embellishments.
- Prepare tech packs and coordinate with merchandising and sampling teams for product development.
- Ensure timely completion of design tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet collection timelines.
- Stay updated with global fashion, fabric, and material innovations.
Required Skills: -
- 3–4 years of experience in fashion/apparel design (Kidswear experience preferred).
- Solid understanding of D2C, retail, or e-commerce business models.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Clo3d, Canva and Microsoft Office.
- Strong creative thinking with a keen eye for innovation, color, silhouette, and detailing.
- Good understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, prints, and embellishments.
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications: -
Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design from reputed institutes such as National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), National Institute of Design (NID), Pearl Academy, International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD), or other recognized fashion institutes
