About the Role :
As a Story Writer for our anime, manga and superhero slate, you will be responsible for conceptualising and fleshing out original, binge-worthy short-form stories set in worlds you already think in natively.
You will take ideas from a one-line concept to a full series bible and scripts, ensuring stories are emotionally gripping and fast-paced with adrenaline rush in each beat.
Key Responsibilities :

Develop original, high-concept anime/manga and superhero story ideas

Flesh out concepts into world rules, power systems, character arcs and episode beats.

Write or supervise scripts with strong hooks, reveals and cliffhangers.

Review, develop and refine scripts for AI microdrama and animated shows.

Translate stories into visual briefs (character sheets, scene descriptions, shot-level prompts) for AI directors

Identify trending themes, tropes, and formats across anime, manga, webtoons and the MCU that drive engagement and retention.

Monitor audience performance metrics (retention, completion rate, engagement) and iterate stories based on data.

Maintain consistency in tone, lore, and storytelling style across episodes and seasons.

Manage multiple projects under tight production timelines.
What We're Looking For :

Deep, native immersion in anime/manga and/or Marvel/MCU — you write and think in these worlds, not about them.

Strong sense of pacing, hooks, and cliffhangers.

Excellent writing skills, with natural, punchy dialogues

Ability to create emotionally engaging, high-retention content.

Experience working with fast turnaround production cycles.

Willingness to live in Bengaluru and work from our office full-time.

Hands-on exposure to AI production tools is a strong plus.

Visualisation skills (sketching, storyboarding, mood boards, or AI image/video tools) are a big plus.
