Kavana is seeking a Senior React Native App Engineer to lead the development of high-quality mobile applications that deliver AI-powered character experiences.
In this role, you will work directly with founders and collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering to build smooth, performant, and scalable applications that support real-time, multimodal interactive conversations.

Responsibilities:
Lead the development of our mobile application in React Native from the ground upArchitect and implement core features across mobile and backend systemsWrite clean, modular code optimized for real-time, high-scale performanceShip user-facing features weekly with a focus on quality and maintainabilityCollaborate closely with founders and the product team to define and enhance the user experienceRequirements:
Proficient in React Native with 3+ years of experience building mobile applications.Proven experience shipping large-scale Android and iOS apps to production using React Native or native platforms.Deep expertise in React Native with solid Python or similar backend skillsHave a deep understanding of the SDLCGood at LLD/HLD and implementation. Understanding of design patterns.Solid understanding of system scaling and maintaining performance under loadStrong product sense with focus on user impact beyond technical implementationSelf-driven and motivated to build impactful products in a fast-paced environmentHave deeply integrated AI into how you workWhat’s in it for you:
